Satellite transmission

Basically all nations in the world will be able to receive the satellite

transmission of the Blessing event in Seoul Korea on 7th February 1999, if

they prepare a Digital Receiver with the following specifications:

QPSK Modulation, MPEG2 Video Decompression, 4:2:0 Video Processing

The dates for the test sending have been changed. The new dates are:

3rd February 14:00 - 15:00 (05:00-06:00GMT) / 6th February 14:00 - 15:00

(05:00-06:00 GMT)

Transmission time on the day of the Blessing Ceremony: 7th February 13:00 –

16:00 (04:00-07:00 GMT)

The satellite to be used: PANAM Sat 1-5,GALAXY 6. Video Standard and

signal: NTSC / Digital. At present the Dacom Company examines whether it is

possible to broadcast to Europe and Russia in PAL/ Analog. We let you know

as soon as possible.

Ceremony to Europe was passed on to us by the World Mission Department in Seoul Korea. .

Satellite Details

There are two test broadcastings:

14:00 - 15:00 p.m. local Korean time (05:00-06:00 GMT) on 5th February

14:00 - 15:00 p.m. local Korean time (05:00-06:00 GMT) on 6th February

On the 7th February broadcasting will be done from 13:00 - 16:00 p.m. local Korean time (04:00-07:00 GMT)

Receiving fee don’t need to be paid. However, the rental fee for the receiving equipment needs to be paid.
