I have located a copy of the "Chung Gam Nok"; but only in Korean. Apparently, there is no English version... and from what I can make of it, the text is poetic, figurative and full of references to historical and/or contemporary figures and events... rather like the book of Daniel, or The Book of Revelation

I once worked on an English edition of a book about Chung Gam Nok. It was actually an English translation of a Japanese book about a Japanese journalist who goes to Korea and learns about the Chung Gam Nok prophecies from a Korean man, who interpreted these prophecies from the original, which was written in Chinese characters. Not only that, but the original was also written in coded Chinese characters so that the author's real meaning would not be discovered by his political enemies.

If I remember correctely, there is a prophecy concerned the coming of "True Man" in Korea. There is also a prophecy about that seems to accurately predict events in the life of Syngman Rhee. There is also an indication of the name of the True Man, which can be interpreted as "Moon" if you change the Chinese characters somewhat. Not speaking Chinese or Korean or Japanese, I can't say how convincing this interpretation might me, but I must say that it lost quite a bit in translation to English.
