For the very first time the president of the Republic of Korea responded to Sun Myung Moons invitation.

President Kim D.J, the president of parliament, the cabinet ministers and many members of parliament came to the Lotte Hotel, where the celebrations took place.

President Kim toasted & cut the cake with True Parents (Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han).

Even though christians in the Blue House tried to dissuade President Kim from taking part at the Segye Times event, he made his decision by himself and came in spite of their crumbling.
