Dearest Kababayans,
Greetings from the Philippines!
I believe everyone's so excited to hear the news about True Mothers
visit here in the Philippines, right? There was no official report
yet from the higher but I can't wait to tell you & to share to you
what I have observed and feel about TM's visit here, as one of the
frontliners in the preparation. I also long to hear the internal
activities of TM in the Philippines; what had happened when she's not
appearing in public.
After all those sleepless night and eatless moments, prayer
conditions as well, finally TM's came to Philippines. She arrived at
Villamor Air Base (Balagbag Airport-where we used to play when we
were young, ) safely at exactly 2:50 in the afternoon of April 25 by
their private plane, without Rev. Kwak and Mr. Neil Salonen. They
went directly to the Manila Hotel with all those police, some RL's,
NM's and NL's , and of course our CD protecting our TM. On the
night of the 26th, we had the VIP Banquet at the Centennial Hall of
the Manila Hotel where TM stayed. Around 350 top level VIP's went
there, the President couldn't come due to previous commitment and
can only send representative on that ocassion. Many Commissioners
coming from the Office of the president came, but most of those who
came are the top Religious leaders, since it is also the inauguration
of the International Inter-Religious Fedration for World Peace, and
they came wearing their own religious gowns. . Some Congressmen came
too (actually, at that moment, there is an ongoing Hearing at the
Congress). People in the field of Academe (Univ. Pres., VP,
Deans...), Muslim leaders were also present and they are also wearing
their beautiful and colorful traditional gowns and about 700 selected
members were there to receive our TM. Immediately after TM spoke,
was the inauguration of the IIFWP followed by the Victory
Celebration. Take note that these VIP's remain to join the
celebration and you know what? We saw how happy and sweet our TP,
although they were in two different places, when they start
conversing. We saw TF via video telecommunication (see how important
internet is...). After the cutting of the victory cake by TF and TM,
tasting it with a sound "chop..chop" the two parties exchange
offering songs for TM's victory in the Philippines. I believe some of
the VIP"s are wondering and surprised during the ocassion specially
when they saw TF.( Although He was old still, He works so hard and
very strong and guiding TM anywhere eventhough they are separated
physically. )But anyway they remain that means they are also enjoying
the Celebration. when we clap for TF/TM they also clapped their
hands. When we shout and cheer they also do the same. We feel a very
family atmosphere, especially when members requested Abonim to sing.
We shouted "Abonim!!Abonim!! " (you know traditional Filipino style)
After His singing, finally TP sung Um Maya together. TF lead the
MANSEI Cheers!! The ocassion ended up at around 11:00PM. This
morning, we had HDH with TM, around 2000 or more members gathered at
the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel to see and listen to TM. Most
of them waited as early as 2:00 AM to be in front. After HDH, we sung
Um Maya altogether, Mother was waving goodbye to the members and I
was a bit crying because she has to leave for another speaking tour
in Kenya. We know she's tired and not getting younger anymore but TF
gave Her that mission so she doesn't have any choice. After
breakfast, she' prepared to go down, members are qued at the lobby of
the Hotel and waited to see TM for the last moment. When TM walk down
the lobby, members are clapping, bowing and some couldn't believe
that they see TM substantially and as near as that. As soon as TM
gets into the car, she opened the window herself and she was grabbed
by the members holding her arms and hands and almost want to embrace
TM, members who luckily held TM hands screamed and shouted like they
saw and touched a very popular actress, but we know TM is much, much
more than that (they could not just express their happiness in
another way) and touching the Messiah is not just simple but a
responsibility. With that I concluded that TM is very happy and She
felt how Phil. Members are longing to see her and see her once again
with the TF.
With these I would like to personally express my sincerest gratitude
to all members local and abroad who prayed and supported TM visit in
the Philippines. Thank you for your goodlucks!!!!!! TM's victory in
the Philippines is also your victory most especially to all of you my
dear brothers and sisters who offered their heart and love to work
for the higher purpose. MANSEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note:
This afternoon, there were 4 teams who have just finished the Manila
wide Pure Love Rally. Around 1000 students, youth leaders and parents
as well joined the rally, meeting at Plaza Miranda. Tomorrow, we will
have a National Convention (Sports Festival) at Marikina Sports
Complex from 7AM to 7PM, since almost all fulltime members are here.
